With rain all day in the forecast, Kelby and Devin didn’t know if they should change their plans for their beach wedding in hopes of a break in the rain. Luckily, Kelby was prepared and bought tents ahead of time in case of a downpour. I showed up at the 30A beach house micro-wedding and the decision was made to move everything to be under the tents. Thank goodness for those! This beach house was a beautiful four-story house, a quick walk to the beach, with decks on each level overlooking the pool and backyard.
I walked into the house and immediately felt the excitement of the day. Kelby and Devin got ready together but on different floors. That way their friends and family are able to see how both brides are getting ready. The most special thing about the 30A beach house for the micro-wedding is that your friends and family were able to join you. There is so much space for everyone to get ready for the wedding.
Kelby and Devin did a first look together. Neither of them have seen their dresses so it was going to be a surprise for both of them. Walking onto the deck overlooking the Gulf and 30A, to go back to back. The ladies chatted and built up the excitement. After, each turned around and saw how similar their dresses were! Great minds think alike and not only was it a surprise but they complimented each other so well.
After their first look, they had a first look with all their friends. Lots of tears, laughter, and a whole lot of love. It made it be a sweet memory to capture. Kelby and Devin made their 30A beach house unique by putting the tents up. A must-do with the rain but it gave it an intimate vibe.
Under the tents, the two brides got married in an intimate 30a beach house micro-wedding officiated by a friend. Guests laughed when their love for Taylor Swift made it into the ceremony but the first kiss married brought the whoops and hollers! At the reception, Kelby and Devin made their guests fell at home with some gulf coast food staples, chill vibes, and an awesome dancing tent!
