Stella & Adam met with me for a sunset engagement session in Destin! They have known each other their whole lives, so this was a beautiful culmination of their love story! Their parents were all friends in college, so their families spent a lot of time together when they were little. After not seeing each other for years because of distance, they reconnected at the end of high school and sparks flew. After a year of FaceTimes, they decided to go their separate ways. They always wanted to see if the Universe brought them back together at a better time. Stella was going to college out of State, and they both needed more time to grow into ourselves.

Fast-forward to November 2019, when the stars finally aligned! They reconnected over a cute dog pic on Snapchat, and the rest is history. Stella moved into a tiny duplex in Pensacola with him after 9 months of dating, they got a cute AF puppy 6 months after that, and now they’re planning a wedding!

Their engagement story was something I wanted to note! You’ll understand why!

Stella wrote, “We were on a snorkeling/tubing trip down the Itchetucknee River with both of our families, which is something we all did together many times when Adam and I were little. Adam’s mom had mentioned wanting to recreate an adorable picture of us as toddlers on the dock at the end of our trip, so we did…and as I was scrambling back to my feet on the slippery rocks, I looked over and he was on one knee with a little black box in his hand! I blacked out most of what he said after that, but our audience said it was perfect, haha.”

How sweet is that!?!? I love it. This leads us to their sunset engagement session! We had a blast I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in April 2023 in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
