Want to get married in Florida, but are not looking for a beach vibe?
Monet Monet – Located near Grayton Beach this venue is one of a kind. The home looks straight out of France with romantic gardens surrounding it. The greenery, fountains, and well laid-out space allows you to create your own one of a kind wedding. It is one of my favorite spots, and the staff of Grayton Beach Catering who own this venue never disappoint.
Eden Gardens State Park – Maybe vacation at the beach, but get married surrounded by southern greens. This State park is covered in moss draped oaks which create the perfect backdrop to your wedding. There is a pavilion to rent for a reception, and has the perfect ground to make for a truly memorable wedding.
The Island Resort – Your all in one spot. Stay, play, and get married at this resort. Right on Okaloosa Island, they are beach front but have one of my favorite ceremony spots. Their “green” overlooks the emerald blue waters so you get the best of both worlds. No crowds, beautiful greenery that make the blue ocean water and white sand really pop! There are a few places to host the reception, and the staff is so wonderful. You can’t go wrong at this venue.
Henderson – The green space! It is my absolute favorite for the views of the sunset, and it is large enough to fit 100+ people. This is another venue where you can relax, stay, and play all in the same spot. A short walk to the beach, they have the best spa around, and their rooftop bar is one of the best places for drinks and views. Another perk is that you’re in walking distance to so many things like the Destin Commons and great restaurants. Another bonus is that there is space/options for inside if you want to get married in the Summer months. Or maybe you need to head indoors for rain! Gah! I love the Henderson!
Carillon Beach – Even though beach is in the name, they the perfect ceremony spot and green space to host your ceremony and reception off the water. The meeting house is bright, light, and the perfect spot for a ceremony. There is no bad view, I swear! Then spread out, and host your reception on the green space. You can even get ready in the rentable houses nearby so you are steps away from your ceremony space. A real time saver when the traffic can be bad in the busy months. Plus, the beach is just a golf cart drive away if you want to head there for sunset photos. It is my favorite venue that has a little bit of everything you could want for a wedding.
