Zachary + Alexis – Henderson Wedding

The wedding below didn’t go as originally planned. Alexis dreamed of having a garden party with the ceremony in front of the beach and reception at the grand lawn. But mother nature intended it differently. It down poured all day with rain in sight for the evening. They had to make the call to bring their reception inside. This is one of the great things about having a Henderson Beach Resort Wedding, there is a plan B for rain. Something that other beach side venues can’t offer. The rain held off during the ceremony and formal photos but once we got inside for the reception it came again. Really, it was great timing and a good call to make.

Their reception was still stunning and went off without a hitch. The band played, an outfit change was involved and they got mauled by streamers for their send off. It was truly such a perfect day. It is always a good reminder that you can’t control mother nature and what she has in store for a date you planned months in advance. So just roll with the punches and enjoy your day!
