Hunter and Stephanie wanted to change things up for their engagement photos. Getting married in Sioux Falls this spring, they decided to head to a cool bar in downtown Sioux Falls called Hello Hi. This is also where I should add that if you haven’t been there, you should go! If you’re used to seeing beaches and open fields, city sessions can be a bit intimidating. But if you take a bit of extra time searching, you’ll realize how many hidden gems can double as the best backdrops! 

Hello Hi had beautiful laidback tropical vibes. That paired with house-made tiki cocktails is a win for me! It gave off a kookie paradise feeling with cool drinks and a 60’s lounge in the back. Bars can be one of the most underrated city locations to shoot at. As you can see, they give off the cool light & and laid-back fun photos.

Having a bar photo session at your favorite place in Downtown Sioux Falls is perfect for inclement weather or another way to tailor your engagement photos to something meaningful to you. A way to think of it is more of an experience or a fun date and less of a “photoshoot.” Always aim to make memories in your session and enjoy your time together.
