When you vacation in Destin, you have to have Destin, Florida Beach family photos. I mean if you ask me, when is the best time to have family photos? On vacation of course!! The Kostepen family traveled down from Georgia to spend their yearly vacation in Destin, Florida. This year, they decided to get a family photo to document their time at their favorite vacation spot.
I met them at their vacation condo and we took the beach walk toward the Destin jetties. Why I love the jetties? You got the white sand beaches, some beautiful green beach grass, large concrete rocks to create dimension and the sunsets perfectly behind you to create some good lighting. Destin jetty family photos is where it is at!!
The Destin Jetties are a popular attraction located at the east end of the Destin Harbor, in Okaloosa County, Florida. They are a pair of rock jetties that extend out into the Gulf of Mexico for approximately 1,000 feet. The jetties were originally built in the early 1900s to protect the entrance of Destin Harbor from erosion caused by waves and currents.
Today, the Destin Jetties are a popular spot for fishing, sightseeing, and enjoying the beautiful Gulf Coast waters. The jetties provide a natural barrier that creates a calm and shallow lagoon-like area on the harbor side, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The area also provides a home for an abundance of marine life, including schools of colorful fish, crabs, and even dolphins.
One of the most popular activities at the Destin Jetties is fishing. The area is known for its excellent fishing opportunities, with a variety of species that can be caught, including redfish, snapper, grouper, and more. The jetties are easily accessible, and there are several fishing charters and guides available to help visitors get the most out of their fishing experience.
In addition to fishing, the Destin Jetties are also a popular spot for snorkeling and scuba diving. The crystal-clear waters around the jetties provide an excellent opportunity to explore the underwater world and discover the beautiful marine life that calls it home. Visitors can rent snorkeling and scuba gear, or join a guided tour to make the most of their experience.
It is one of the best places to have your Destin, Florida beach family photos. You catch the sunset, climb some rocks and end it in the water!
