30A is a unique and small beach Florida beach town with sugary white sand and emerald blue waters. The perfect place for your 30A engagement photos. But the hardest part about 30A is where to go!
30A is a road that runs along side picturesque beach towns like Alys Beach, Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Watercolor, Grayton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Seagrove Beach, Inlet Beach and Blue Mountain Beach. So when people talk 30A it encompasses all of it. But if you talk to someone who vacations here, they will definitely have a favorite and tell you all about it. The Beaches. If you come down to the Emerald Coast it is more than likely it is for the beautiful coast. So odds are, you want photos on the beach to document it. Some beaches can be private (like Alys Beach) or hard to get to if you are not staying in the area. But, there are plenty of public beach accesses and state parks to chose from.
The Best Beaches for Photos
TIP: To avoid the busy crowds, try a sunrise photo shoot. You may have to wake up early but it will be worth it for the almost empty beaches and pastel sky. Bonus: when you have photos done in the morning, then you have the whole rest of the day to explore or lounge by the beach with a margarita…your choice!!
This is the best of both worlds. Depending on location, I like to end my couples at the beach so they can have pictures and enjoy that epic sunset.
My favorite two location spots
Having two locations can also be where your personalities as a couple shine. I’ve done photos of the couples gallivanting around riding bikes in Rosemary Beach, or head to your favorite brewery for some pre-beach pictures and drinks, or even head to a wine bar to have some epic photos taken there.
Below is the couple who had their engagement photos start on the their favorite public beach access near Seagrove Beach then we headed to The Wine Bar in Watercolor on 30A to end the night with an outfit change, lots of camera flash and some wine. Pretty perfect if you do ask me! I mean, do you SEE that sunset. I swear I did not change the colors at all. It was that pink! Made me think of Taylor Swifts Lover album cover.

Need help on a spot to propose in the area and a photographer to capture the photos. This is a surprise so just walking out to the beach at sunset would more than likely give it away. Date would be Friday June 21, 2024. Please feel free to call me @ 251-421-6158.
