Elizabeth and Rob love Detroit, so it was natural to have their city engagement session galavanting around the streets. We started with taking a few pictures of the Detroit mansion they lived in when they first started dating. They lived in the second story loft that you can see below!

We then headed to The Monarch Club, where they actually got engaged! (I love love love including personal locations like this!!) On the day he proposed, all of their friends and family were waiting to surprise Elizabeth and see her reaction when she said yes! It is a really special memory for them. We enjoyed the modern bar the club has with inventive cocktails, sweeping views of Detroit and all around a lux and chill atmosphere.

Their city engagement session ended at Belle Isle, where we shot at the old casino. There was a perfect golden hour we took advantage of that overlooks the Detroit River and city skyline. This was truly such an amazing day and session. All of these locations hold near and dear to them & it was such a pleasure making their vision come to life.
